Heather Rae Thurman Obituary, Death – Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday, December 15th, at 5:25 p.m. on Truevine Road, located a quarter mile east of Pig River Road in Franklin County.

The crash involved a 1997 Toyota Tacoma, which was traveling west on Truevine Road when it veered off the right side of the road and collided with a tree. The driver of the vehicle, 27-year-old Heather Rae Thurman from Glade Hill, was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is still under investigation, and Virginia State Police are working to determine the cause of the crash.
