Stephany Rumley Obituary, Death – A tragic multi-vehicle collision on a Grady County highway claimed the life of a 73-year-old woman on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP). The fatal crash occurred around 4:55 p.m. on U.S. Highway 62, east of Chickasha.

OHP’s collision report detailed the sequence of events leading to the fatal accident. A Toyota Tundra, after stopping at an intersection, entered the highway and collided with a Cadillac SRX traveling along U.S. 62. The impact of the crash caused severe injuries to a passenger in the Cadillac, who was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, the passenger, identified as 73-year-old Stephany Rumley of Pocasset, was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The driver of the Toyota Tundra sustained injuries in the crash and received medical treatment. Meanwhile, the Cadillac’s driver was admitted to OU Health in Oklahoma City, where he was reported to be in stable condition, according to authorities.

The crash is under investigation as officials work to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident. This collision serves as a somber reminder of the potential dangers on roadways and the importance of cautious driving at intersections.
