Ray-mundo B Zenteno Obituary, Death – A fatal crash in Halstad Township on Saturday morning has claimed the life of 68-year-old Raymundo B. Zenteno, a resident of Climax, Minnesota. The incident occurred shortly after midnight, around 12:20 a.m., on Highway 75 under snowy and icy conditions.
According to authorities, Zenteno was driving a Ford Taurus northbound on Highway 75 when the crash occurred. A semi truck, driven by 26-year-old Luis Enrique Pardo of Mexico, was traveling southbound. The two vehicles collided in the southbound lanes near the intersection of US Highway 75 and 270th Avenue.
Zenteno was rushed to Sanford Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the semi, Pardo, fortunately, was not injured in the crash.
The Norman County Sheriff’s Office, along with Essentia EMS, Ada Police Department, and Halstad Fire and Rescue, responded to the scene of the crash. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
