Keith Cousin Obituary, Death – Boston Police have identified a 37-year-old man from Bayonne, New Jersey, as the victim of a fatal shooting in Dorchester late Monday night. Keith Cousin was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds at around 10:24 p.m. at 114 Devon Street. Despite the efforts of first responders, Cousin was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a statement from Boston Police.

Following the incident, two individuals were arrested near the scene, although neither has been charged with Cousin’s death at this time. The suspects, Darius Powell, 25, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and Daiquan Miller, 25, of Dorchester, are facing charges related to unlawful firearm possession and illegal possession of a large-capacity feeding device.

Police reported spotting Powell and Miller leaving an alley behind the Lila Frederick School, close to the shooting site. When officers attempted to speak with them, the two men fled on foot, prompting a chase. Both were eventually apprehended, and a subsequent search of the area revealed two firearms, authorities said.

At this stage, police have not confirmed whether the charges against Powell and Miller are connected to the fatal shooting of Cousin. The investigation remains ongoing, and law enforcement is working to determine the circumstances leading to the incident and the possible involvement of the two men in the events of that night.
