On Monday, authorities identified the deceased as Helen Pardini, a 69-year-old resident of Poughkeepsie.

Pardini’s body was discovered by a hiker near the east shore of the Hudson River, south of Bard Rock. At the time of the discovery, she was lying face down. On December 10, the Dutchess County Medical Examiner provided further details, confirming Pardini’s identity and physical characteristics. She was described as a white woman with brown eyes, gray hair, weighing 112 pounds, and standing five foot five. There were no visible scars, marks, or tattoos on her body.

The circumstances surrounding Pardini’s death remain unclear, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities are seeking any information that could shed light on the events leading to her death.
