Angel Salas Celaya Obituary, Death – A 26-year-old man was killed in a car crash late Monday night in Surprise. The accident occurred around 11:30 p.m. when a silver vehicle attempted to make a turn onto Sarival Road. As the vehicle was turning, it was struck by a black car traveling on Waddell Road, which had its headlights off.
The driver of the black car had to be extricated from the wreckage and was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries. The deceased has been identified as Angel Salas Celaya. The driver of the silver vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The Surprise Police Department suspects that speed and impairment may have played a role in the crash, and the incident is still under investigation.
