The county coroner, Bobbi Jo O’Neal, confirmed that Walter Bridges succumbed to his injuries at St. Francis Hospital at 4:22 p.m. on the same day.
Authorities reported that the crash occurred at approximately 3:35 p.m. at the intersection of Bees Ferry Road and Main Road. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported Bridges to the hospital, where he later died from injuries sustained in the accident.
