Tywon Mills Obituary, Death – The Palm Springs Police Department is investigating a fatal incident where a man was found dead in the road, believed to be the result of a hit-and-run. On October 18 at 12:30 a.m., police received a report from a motorist, unconnected to the incident, who had seen a man lying in the road near Lake Worth Road and Corrigan Court.
The man, identified as Tywon Mills, was pronounced dead at the scene. Prior to the crash, witnesses reported seeing Mills walking back and forth between the nearby bus stop and into traffic. His bicycle and backpack were found at the bus stop, adding to the information that police are using in their investigation.
While no direct witnesses to the crash have come forward, surveillance footage from the area captured a silver or gray SUV leaving the scene, which police believe may have been involved.
