Tyrone Lee Death Obituary News: Elk Grove man, 30, dies in Fresno County high-speed crash, CHP reports.

Tyrone Lee Death Obituary News – A high-speed crash in Fresno County claimed the life of a 30-year-old Elk Grove man early Thursday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 12:36 a.m. on Highway 99 near Manning Avenue. Authorities say the victim, identified as Tyrone Lee, was driving an Acura MDX westbound on Manning Avenue at excessive speed when he lost control of the vehicle.

The Acura struck two raised concrete curbs, became airborne, and traveled approximately 120 feet down an embankment before crashing into the dirt shoulder of Highway 99. The impact ejected Lee from the vehicle, and he landed on the northbound lanes of the highway, where he was struck by a Nissan Sentra.

Lee, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene, CHP said. The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Investigators have not yet determined if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash, and toxicology results are pending. The incident remains under investigation.
