Tyler West Obituary, Death – On Monday, a fatal motorcycle crash occurred on Route 195 in Tolland, Connecticut, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Tyler West, a local resident. West was riding his Honda CBR600RR northbound near 593 Merrow Road, also known as Route 195, when the tragic incident happened.
According to Connecticut State Police reports, the collision took place in the northbound lane when a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder, driven by a 33-year-old man from Mansfield, was being pulled out of a driveway. The driver intended to turn left to head south on Route 195. As the Pathfinder entered the roadway, it collided with West’s motorcycle.
The impact caused West to become separated from his motorcycle, resulting in severe and fatal injuries. Emergency responders arrived on the scene, but unfortunately, West was pronounced dead at the location of the crash.
The driver of the Nissan Pathfinder remained at the scene and did not report any injuries. Connecticut State Police confirmed that the driver cooperated with investigators following the accident.
