Troy Schwartz Obituary, Death – A tragic two-vehicle accident in Johnson County claimed the life of a Beatrice man on Monday afternoon. The victim was identified as 42-year-old Troy Schwartz, according to Johnson County Attorney Ben Beethe.
The collision occurred around 4:20 p.m. on U.S. Highway 136, near the junction with 610 Avenue, approximately ten miles west of Tecumseh and about two miles northeast of Crab Orchard. The accident involved a semitrailer truck and a pickup truck.
Emergency services confirmed that Schwartz, the driver of the pickup, died at the scene due to the severity of the crash. The driver of the semitrailer, a 34-year-old man from Florida, and his passenger were unharmed in the incident.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and the Nebraska State Patrol are currently investigating the cause of the accident. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
