Torris Kinney Obituary, Death – A deadly three-vehicle crash in Bolivar County resulted in one fatality late on the night of July 30. According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP), the accident happened just before 10:30 p.m. on Highway 8 near the city of Cleveland.

Authorities reported that the chain-reaction crash began when a 2018 Nissan Sentra, traveling eastbound, struck the rear of a 2013 Buick Lacrosse. The impact caused the Buick to then hit the back of a 2013 Dodge Ram that was also traveling east.

The driver of the Buick Lacrosse, identified as 32-year-old Torris Kinney of Cleveland, sustained fatal injuries from the crash. Emergency personnel responded to the scene, but Kinney was pronounced dead on-site due to the severity of his injuries.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol has confirmed that the investigation into the incident is ongoing. No further details have been released regarding the other drivers involved or whether any charges are being considered. The circumstances that led to the initial collision, such as vehicle speed, distraction, or road conditions, have not yet been disclosed.
