Toby Moseler Obituary, Death: 33-year-old dies in Clarksville motorcycle crash.

Toby Moseler Obituary, Death – A motorcycle crash in Clarksville on Saturday night resulted in the death of a 33-year-old man. The accident occurred around 7:20 p.m. on November 2 at the intersection of Golf Club Lane and Memorial Drive. According to the Clarksville Police Department, the motorcyclist, identified as Toby Moseler, was transported to Tennova Healthcare, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Initially, the crash was reported as involving two motorcycles, but authorities later clarified it involved one motorcycle and another vehicle. The incident underscores ongoing concerns about motorcycle safety on Tennessee’s roads, which have seen a troubling rise in traffic accidents in recent years. Data from the Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security and the Tennessee Integrated Traffic Analysis Network indicates that crash numbers in 2024 have surpassed those reported in 2019.

Clarksville, in particular, has been a hotspot for motorcycle-related accidents. Over the past year, police responded to 159 motorcycle crashes in the city, resulting in 11 fatalities. Clarksville Police Department’s public information officer, Scott Beaubien, noted that speeding often plays a role in these incidents, whether on the part of the motorcyclist or the other driver.

In response, the department has ramped up traffic enforcement, issuing 774 speeding tickets and 755 warnings in the last three months. Authorities are urging all drivers to reduce their speed to enhance road safety and minimize accidents.
