Tina Quigg Obituary, Death – A tragic accident claimed the life of a woman in Fern Valley early Friday morning. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 61-year-old Tina Quigg. The incident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. when officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) responded to a crash on Fern Valley Road near the Interstate 65 interchange.
According to preliminary investigations, Quigg was crossing Fern Valley Road but was outside the designated crosswalk area when a vehicle struck her. She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver involved in the collision suffered minor injuries but did not require immediate hospitalization.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is leading the investigation into the crash. Authorities have not announced whether any charges will be filed, and no further details have been released at this time.
