Timothy Forest Obituary, Death – The Jackson Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a 49-year-old man on Sunday. The incident occurred in the 1900 block of Wingfield Circle.
According to a press release from JPD, 33-year-old Darrius Jordan has been charged with murder in the case. On Monday, JPD Public Information Officer Tommie Brown identified the victim as Timothy Forest, 49.
Brown stated that Forest was shot at the scene and later died at a local hospital. Authorities have not disclosed any details regarding a possible motive for the shooting.
