Thomas J. Alexander Obituary, Death – Authorities in Walnut Hills are investigating the fatal shooting of a 34-year-old man found in an apartment building stairwell early Friday morning.

Cincinnati police responded to reports of a shooting at the Park Eden apartment complex on Park Avenue around 3 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds in the stairwell of the building, according to Captain Stephen Bower.

The victim was later identified by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office as Thomas J. Alexander, a resident of Grove City. Emergency responders transported him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

At this time, police have not disclosed any details regarding the circumstances leading up to the shooting or potential suspect information. Authorities continue to investigate and are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
