Terry Moore, Michael Moore Obituary, Death – Two pedestrians, Terry Moore, 73, and Michael Moore, 71, were tragically killed on Friday night after being struck by a car in a suburban West Palm Beach intersection, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. The fatal incident occurred just before 7 p.m. on Fair Green Road, near its intersection with Drexel Road, located in the Haverhill-Golden Lakes area to the west of the city limits. The area lies north of Belvedere Road and east of Jog Road.
As the two men were walking east on Fair Green Road and crossing into the intersection, a 2011 Toyota Venza, driven by a 77-year-old West Palm Beach resident, was traveling south on Drexel Road. The driver, according to authorities, made the decision to pass other vehicles that had slowed down on the north side of the intersection, entering the crosswalk at the same moment the pedestrians were crossing.
The Toyota Venza struck the two men, and both victims were thrown onto the east shoulder of the road. Deputies confirmed that Terry and Michael Moore were pronounced dead shortly after the crash.
The driver of the Toyota, who has not been identified, remained at the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the incident, and charges are pending against the driver as part of the ongoing inquiry.
