Sean Adair Obituary, Death, Police: Pedestrian Killed in Trafalgar Collision
Sean Adair Obituary, Death – A 42-year-old man, identified as Sean Adair from Rensselaer, died after being struck by a vehicle in Trafalgar on Saturday night, according to the Trafalgar Police Department.
The incident occurred at 11:10 p.m. at the intersection of State Roads 135 and 252. Police said a 20-year-old man from Morgantown was driving southbound on State Road 135 when he struck Adair, who was walking in the intersection.
A witness to the accident told police that Adair had crossed the intersection but then turned around and walked back into the path of the vehicle, which had a green light at the time. The driver did not have time to avoid the pedestrian. After being struck, Adair was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver remained at the scene of the accident, and authorities did not announce any arrests or charges in connection with the crash. Police confirmed that the driver had the green light when the incident occurred.
