Scott Tucker, Dennis Bernard Obituary, Death – Three individuals who died in a crash following a pursuit on Hungry Neck Boulevard were identified by authorities on Friday morning. The victims—Scott Tucker, 20; Dennis Bernard, 20; and Jaden Geathers, 19—all from the Summerville area, tragically lost their lives due to blunt force trauma after their vehicle left the road and collided with a tree.
According to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, Tucker and Bernard were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, while Geathers was taken to the Medical University of South Carolina, where he was later confirmed dead. The incident occurred on Hungry Neck Boulevard, where the vehicle crashed after the pursuit.
The Sheriff’s Office shared that Tucker, one of the victims, was a detention officer. He had been sworn in to service on March 4 and had recently begun his career in law enforcement.
The crash, which resulted in all three victims losing their lives, has brought deep sorrow to the community. It is still under investigation by local authorities.
