Scott Morris, Elizabeth Fletcher Obituary, Death – Early Thursday, a motorcycle crash in Fort Walton Beach claimed the lives of two individuals, according to local authorities. The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Brooks Street SE when the motorcycle collided with a cinder block mailbox. The impact caused the vehicle to catch fire. Responding officers from the Fort Walton Beach Police Department extinguished the flames upon arrival and provided immediate aid to the victims found on the ground near the wreckage.
The male victim, identified as 28-year-old Scott Morris from Destin, was pronounced dead at the scene. The female passenger, 28-year-old Elizabeth Fletcher of Valparaiso, was transported to Florida HCA Fort Walton-Destin Hospital for treatment. Despite efforts to save her, Fletcher also succumbed to her injuries, police confirmed.
