Scott Eugene Gray Obituary, Death: Driver identified in deadly US 24 crash involving fire

Scott Eugene Gray Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the driver who died following a crash on US 24 that resulted in a vehicle fire.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office confirmed that the victim was 54-year-old Scott Eugene Gray of Andrews, Indiana. Officials stated that Gray’s next of kin had been notified.
An autopsy determined that Gray died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash. His death was officially ruled an accident.
The incident occurred on February 18 at the intersection of US 24 and West County Line Road. According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, Gray’s vehicle crashed into a business sign, causing it to spin out of control before catching fire.
Emergency responders transported Gray to the hospital in critical condition, but he succumbed to his injuries nine days later, on February 27.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the crash.
