Sauvan Pham Obituary, Death – Austin Police have identified the pedestrian who was killed in a crash in north Austin in August and are now seeking the driver involved in the incident.
The victim, a 49-year-old man named Sauvan Pham, was struck by a vehicle on August 4. Police responded to the scene, located on the 10800 block of North Lamar Boulevard, shortly after 2 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Pham suffering from injuries and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the police report, the vehicle involved in the crash did not stop and fled the scene, heading north on North Lamar Boulevard. Authorities have described the vehicle as a dark-colored sedan.
In an effort to locate the responsible driver, the Austin Police Department (APD) is asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle. The Vehicular Homicide unit is actively investigating the case and is seeking any information that could help lead to the driver’s whereabouts.
