Sarah Bingham Obituary, Death – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Tuesday involving a dump truck. According to the initial findings of the investigation, the accident took place on US Highway 42 in Gallatin County. Stacey Rigdon, a resident of Batavia, Ohio, was driving a 2020 Mack dump truck eastbound when, for unknown reasons, the truck crossed the center line and collided with a 2012 Honda Accord.
The force of the impact caused the dump truck to veer off the roadway and crash into a tree. After striking the tree, the dump truck then collided with a vehicle driven by Sarah Bingham, a resident of Florence. Tragically, Sarah Bingham was pronounced dead at the scene by the Gallatin County coroner.
At this time, the investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing, and authorities are working to determine all contributing factors to the accident.
