The incident occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on Bellamy Road in Berlin Township. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene following reports of a single-vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, troopers discovered that 27-year-old Ryan Tinkham, driving a Toyota Camry, had veered off the road while traveling southbound. The vehicle left the roadway, entered a ditch, and overturned. Unfortunately, Tinkham did not survive the crash.

The Erie County Coroner’s Office was present at the scene to assist in the investigation. Tinkham, a resident of Wakeman, was identified as the victim. According to the OSHP, he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, which may have contributed to the severity of the outcome.
