Rhiley Peterson; Authorities have identified the 24-year-old woman from Wausaukee who tragically died in a crash on Saturday night in the town of Stiles, Oconto County. The deceased has been named as Rhiley Peterson.

According to the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred around 9:50 p.m. when Peterson’s vehicle left U.S. Highway 141, south of the Stiles Road intersection. The vehicle went off the road, entered a ditch, and overturned multiple times. Despite efforts to save her, Peterson was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

In the vehicle with Peterson was a 1-year-old child, who was also injured in the crash. The child was taken to a hospital in Green Bay to be evaluated for any potential injuries. Thankfully, the child’s condition was not immediately reported as critical.
