Nykeria Jude Obituary, Death News – Authorities in Tunica County are actively searching for a suspect following a deadly shooting that left one person dead and two others, including a young child, seriously injured. The incident took place on the evening of July 11, around 7:00 p.m., in the 1000 block of Soleil Drive, located in Robinsonville, Mississippi.
Deputies from the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene after reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Tragically, 30-year-old Nykeria Jude was pronounced dead at the scene by the Tunica County coroner.
The other two victims, a 24-year-old man and a six-year-old girl, were critically wounded and required immediate medical attention. Due to the severity of their injuries, both were airlifted to nearby hospitals for specialized treatment. The adult male victim was transported to Regional One Health in Memphis, while the young girl was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, also in Memphis. Their current medical conditions have not yet been disclosed.
Investigators quickly identified a suspect in the case: Markello Braxton, a resident of Robinsonville. Law enforcement officials have classified Braxton as armed and dangerous, and a manhunt is currently underway to locate and apprehend him.
