Nisiah Sanders, Myron Rainey Obituary, Death – Police in Shaker Heights have released the identities of two men fatally shot early Sunday morning. The victims were Nisiah Sanders, 24, and Myron Rainey, 30, according to a press release issued Monday.
The incident occurred in the 17000 block of Shaker Boulevard, where officers were dispatched around 3:30 a.m. in response to multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered Sanders and Rainey deceased outside a residence. Officers detained several individuals attempting to leave the scene, but no arrests have been made so far. Authorities stated that there is currently no evidence of a third-party suspect being involved in the shootings.
The investigation prompted road closures later that morning. Around 10 a.m., officials advised motorists to avoid Shaker Boulevard between Attleboro and Lee roads due to ongoing police activity. The area remained under investigation throughout the day.
According to an updated press release, both victims had been attending a house party at the time of the shooting. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is assisting local authorities in their efforts to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
Police are continuing their investigation and have not disclosed further details at this time.
