Nikman Sarraf Obituary, Death: Pedestrian Fatally Struck While Crossing Wellborn Road
Nikman Sarraf Obituary, Death – A tragic accident in College Station claimed the life of a Texas A&M student on Wednesday night, March 19. According to the College Station Police Department (CSPD), 19-year-old Nikman Sarraf of Austin was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Wellborn Road near Fidelity Street.
The incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. when Sarraf ran across the road toward the train tracks. Police noted that he was not using a crosswalk at the time. The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and fully cooperated with authorities throughout the investigation.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after the accident, but Sarraf did not survive his injuries. The roadway was closed for several hours as officers conducted their investigation, finally reopening around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
