Nicholas Coleman, Jason Goodwin Death, Obituary News – A tragic head-on collision in Southeast Georgia claimed the lives of four people, including two young children, after both vehicles caught fire upon impact.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, the crash occurred around 7:40 p.m. on Thursday at the intersection of GA Highway 27 and Eureka Church Road in Jeff Davis County.

Investigators determined that a Chevrolet Avalanche, driven by Nicholas Coleman of Hazlehurst, collided head-on with a tractor-trailer. The impact caused both vehicles to burst into flames.

Coleman, along with his 1-year-old and 2-year-old children, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer, Jason Goodwin of Elgin, South Carolina, also died in the crash.

The accident forced the closure of all lanes on GA Highway 27 at Eureka Church Road as emergency crews responded to the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the deadly collision.
