Mihai-Mario Stoica Obituary, Death – A fatal crash on Dumfries Road in Prince William County, Virginia, left one driver dead and three others hospitalized late Sunday night. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and are asking any witnesses to come forward.

Police responded to the scene near Dumfries Road and Van Buren Road around 10:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a serious accident. Their preliminary investigation revealed that a 2013 Audi A7 was traveling eastbound at high speed when it crossed the median into oncoming traffic. The Audi then collided head-on with a 2024 Cadillac Escalade that was traveling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Audi, identified as 18-year-old Mihai-Mario Stoica of Woodbridge, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 25-year-old passenger in the Audi was rushed to the hospital, though the extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.

The driver of the Escalade, also an 18-year-old man from Woodbridge, along with a 32-year-old passenger, was also hospitalized following the crash. Authorities have not provided further details on their conditions.

Crash investigators are working to determine the exact cause of the accident. While speed was clearly a factor, officials have not stated whether impairment or other circumstances played a role.
