Michael Keller Obituary, Death – A tragic two-car crash occurred on Sunday on I-684 northbound in the Town of Southeast, resulting in the death of a Connecticut man. State police reported that the accident took place when 23-year-old Makayla McIntyre from Mount Vernon lost control of her vehicle. After striking a guiderail, McIntyre’s vehicle veered across all lanes of traffic, eventually colliding with another car driven by 65-year-old Michael Keller from New Milford, Connecticut.
Both vehicles were severely affected by the crash, with the cars veering off the roadway, striking the median, and overturning before coming to a halt in the center embankment. Despite efforts to save him, Keller was pronounced dead at the scene. McIntyre, on the other hand, was taken to Danbury Hospital with what were described as minor injuries.
State police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
