Michael E. Vincent Obituary, Death: Towanda man dies in UTV crash.
Michael E. Vincent Obituary, Death – A single-vehicle crash in Towanda Township claimed the life of 42-year-old Michael E. Vincent late Friday night, according to the Pennsylvania State Police Department. The incident occurred on November 22 at approximately 11 p.m.
Vincent was driving a 2020 Polaris Ranger UTV westbound on Old Plank Road near High School Drive when he failed to navigate a right-hand curve. As a result, the UTV veered off the roadway, crossing onto the shoulder of the eastbound side, where it collided with multiple fixed objects. The vehicle ultimately came to a stop in a ditch and sustained significant damage.
Emergency responders, including the Bradford County Coroner, pronounced Vincent dead at the scene. Authorities reported that Vincent had been traveling too fast for the road conditions. He was not wearing a seatbelt or any other safety equipment at the time of the crash, which contributed to the severity of the incident.
Local agencies assisted at the scene, including the Towanda Volunteer Fire Department, North Towanda Township Volunteer Fire Department, Towanda Memorial EMS, and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
