According to police, the victim was 70-year-old Michael D. Harrington, a resident of Tamworth. He was fatally injured when his pickup truck veered off the roadway and struck a tree along Maple Road.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Friday. Members of the Tamworth Fire Department provided medical assistance at the scene before Harrington was transported to a nearby hospital.
