Mark Loren McVicker Obituary, Death – A tragic accident on Highway 224 in Clackamas County claimed the life of a 64-year-old man on Tuesday morning. Emergency crews were called to the scene near milepost 12 around 8:30 a.m., following reports of a serious crash.
According to an investigation conducted by Oregon State Police, a red Dodge pickup truck was traveling westbound when it veered off the road. The vehicle struck a tree before plunging down a steep embankment, ultimately coming to rest approximately 40 feet below.
The driver, identified as Mark Loren McVicker from Sandy, Oregon, tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident caused significant traffic disruptions along Highway 224, with the area closed for around four hours as officials conducted a thorough investigation into the incident.
