Leonard Browder Obituary, Death – The Baton Rouge Police Department is actively investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on Monday, January 6, around 4 p.m. The victim, identified as 30-year-old Leonard Browder, succumbed to injuries sustained during the incident on Shelley Street.
The investigation began when officers were flagged down in relation to a single-car motor vehicle accident. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered Browder in a nearby field, not far from the site of the reported accident. It was then determined that Browder had been shot. Despite the officers’ efforts to provide aid, Browder later died at a local hospital.
Authorities are currently searching for both a suspect and a motive behind this fatal shooting. The investigation remains active, and the police have stated that they will release additional information as it becomes available.
