William Martindale Obituary, Death – A 57-year-old man from Attleboro died after a three-car collision on Interstate 95 in Foxboro, Massachusetts, on Friday evening, authorities reported.

Crash Details

The accident occurred just before 5 p.m. on I-95 south, near Exit 23B. Massachusetts State Police were called to the scene, where they found multiple vehicles involved and serious injuries reported.

According to preliminary findings, the crash was caused by one of the drivers experiencing a medical emergency behind the wheel. This medical episode led to his vehicle veering off the road into the median, before swerving back into traffic and colliding with two other vehicles.

Victim Identified

State police identified the deceased driver as William Martindale, 57, of Attleboro. First responders attempted life-saving measures at the scene before transporting him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Other Injuries and Road Closures

One of the other drivers involved in the crash sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Following the collision, sections of I-95 south were closed for investigation but were reopened by 7:40 p.m., restoring normal traffic flow.

The Massachusetts State Police continue to investigate the crash to determine any additional contributing factors.
