Latasha Thomas Death News -On Sunday, January 19, the Baton Rouge Police Department launched an investigation into a shooting that resulted in the death of 48-year-old Latasha Thomas. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. in the 3700 block of Plank Road.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Thomas had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. During the investigation, a teenage suspect turned himself in to the authorities. The teen was subsequently charged with second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
