La Von Marquis Anderson Obituary, Death – Henrico County police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting on Brook Road and have reclassified the case as a homicide. The incident occurred on Sunday, November 24, at approximately 11:57 a.m. when officers responded to a call regarding a domestic-related disturbance in the 8500 block of Brook Road.
Upon arrival, officers found a man inside a room with apparent gunshot wounds. They immediately administered life-saving measures until first responders from the Henrico County Division of Fire arrived and transported the victim to a nearby hospital. Despite these efforts, the man later succumbed to his injuries.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old La Von Marquis Anderson, a resident of Henrico County.
Detectives from the Henrico Criminal Investigations Section are currently looking into the circumstances leading up to the shooting. The police have identified a suspect, but no additional details have been released as the investigation continues.
