Kenneth Lavache Obituary, Death – A motorcyclist lost his life and a driver sustained serious injuries in a collision that occurred on Cape Cod on Wednesday afternoon, according to police reports.
The motorcycle collided with a vehicle that was attempting to merge onto West Falmouth Highway/Route 28 in Falmouth, Massachusetts, at approximately 1:27 p.m., as stated by local law enforcement. The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and was immediately transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The other driver suffered serious injuries but is anticipated to survive after also being taken to the hospital, as reported by the police.
The deceased motorcyclist was identified as Kenneth Lavache, a 65-year-old resident of Hudson.
The incident is currently under investigation by state police. While the Falmouth police indicated that the vehicle failed to yield to the approaching motorcycle, they did not specify whether the driver would face any charges.
