Kathleen Tascione, a resident of Bellingham, Massachusetts, was hit by a car on January 11 in the parking lot of the Ocean State Job Lot located at 1919 Diamond Hill Road. According to Woonsocket Police Chief Thomas Oates, emergency responders transported Tascione to Landmark Medical Center following the accident, where she was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the vehicle that struck Tascione remained at the scene following the incident. Chief Oates confirmed that the driver is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation. The Woonsocket Police Department’s accident reconstruction team has taken over the case, and an in-depth investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances of the collision.
