June Green, Jr Obituary, Death – Richmond police have identified a man found dead from a gunshot wound in the city’s Northside on Friday evening. The man has been named as 50-year-old June Green Jr. of Richmond.
According to the Richmond Police Department, at approximately 4:03 p.m. on May 2, officers responded to a call reporting a person lying on the ground in the 3900 block of Old Brook Road. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered Green Jr. with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the spot, and his body was left at the scene for further investigation.
The Medical Examiner’s office will determine the official cause and manner of death, but the case is being treated as a homicide. Richmond Police have asked anyone with information about the incident to come forward and contact Detective B. Neifeld at 804-646-3246.
