The first victim, 36-year-old Julio Delgado, lost his life on May 15th. Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Jefferson Street just before midnight after reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, police found Delgado suffering from a critical gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel transported him to a nearby hospital, but despite their efforts, he later died from his injuries.
Just a few days later, on May 18th, police responded to a shooting in the 3400 block of Wilkens Avenue around 2:37 a.m. There, they found 25-year-old Joseph Robinson with a gunshot wound to the neck. Unfortunately, medics pronounced Robinson dead at the scene, marking another tragic loss.
Later that same day, Baltimore police received a call around 5:40 p.m. about an unresponsive person in the 1200 block of East Madison Street. Officers arrived to find 26-year-old Da’Quan Little suffering from a gunshot wound to the back of the head. He was pronounced dead on site by first responders.
These three deaths contribute to Baltimore’s ongoing homicide count, which has reached 49 so far in 2025. The city continues to grapple with high rates of gun violence, prompting calls for increased community efforts and law enforcement intervention to address the growing crisis.
Police are continuing their investigations into each shooting but have not released additional details about suspects or motives. Community members are urged to come forward with any information that could aid in solving these cases.
