Joshua Little Obituary, Death: Ohio State Highway Patrol Investigates Fatal Crash in Findlay

Joshua Little Obituary, Death – The Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident that took place on December 5, 2024, at approximately 6:22 a.m. The incident occurred on the southbound exit ramp from Interstate 75 to State Route 103 in Orange Township, Hancock County.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 42-year-old Joshua Little from Wapakoneta, Ohio, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet HHR southbound on Interstate 75. As he approached the exit for State Route 103, his vehicle became disabled and came to a stop on the right shoulder. Little then exited his vehicle and began walking south on the exit ramp leading to State Route 103.

Meanwhile, 64-year-old Michael Rahrig of Findlay, Ohio, was driving a 2016 Ford Edge. He was traveling south on the same exit ramp from Interstate 75 to State Route 103 when he struck Little, who was walking up the ramp.

Despite efforts to respond, Little was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Rahrig, the driver of the Ford Edge, was not injured. The body of Mr. Little was transported to the Lucas County Coroner’s office for further examination.

The crash caused the southbound exit ramp to State Route 103 to be closed for about an hour. However, it has since been reopened for traffic.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by multiple agencies, including Bluffton Police Department, Bluffton EMS, HANCO EMS, the Ohio Department of Transportation, and two towing companies, R and A Towing and D and D Towing.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash is ongoing.
