Joshua Kirkwood – Authorities have identified a man fatally stabbed at a Waukegan restaurant on Saturday night. The incident occurred around 11:27 p.m. at Forty One Fourteen Steaks and Seafood, located on Green Bay Road, according to Waukegan police.
Emergency responders transported the victim, 51-year-old Joshua Kirkwood of Waukegan, to Vista Medical Center East, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy conducted by the Lake County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Kirkwood died from multiple stab wounds.
The investigation into the fatal stabbing is ongoing. As of now, police have not disclosed whether any arrests have been made or identified potential suspects. Authorities continue to gather information to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
