Joseph Ford Death News – A 16-year-old boy, Joseph Ford, tragically died after being found unresponsive inside an ice fishing shanty on a private pond in Russiaville, Indiana. The incident occurred on Sunday morning, and authorities were alerted when Ford’s mother called 911 around 9:34 a.m. to report that her son was unconscious.
According to a joint statement from the Howard County Sheriff’s Office and the Howard County Coroner’s Office, the emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, located near the intersection of 300 S. and 500 W. in Russiaville. They found Ford inside the ice fishing shanty on the property, and despite efforts to revive him, he was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
First responders from the Howard County Sheriff’s Office, Russiaville Police Department, Russiaville Fire Department, and Community Howard Regional Health worked together to provide assistance. Unfortunately, Ford’s condition was severe, and he did not survive the incident.
