John Brinke Obituary, Death – A deadly crash occurred in Clermont County on Wednesday morning, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that 78-year-old John Brinker was driving south on State Route 132 around 9 a.m. when he crossed the centre line and collided with a vehicle travelling north. After the initial impact, Brinker’s car struck a guardrail.
Brinker was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the other vehicle—three people—suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
In response to the crash, while law enforcement investigated the incident, SR 132 was shut down in both directions near Woodbury Glen. The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
