Jesus Portillo Obituary, Death – A 50-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run accident Sunday night in Mission Hills, Los Angeles, when he was struck by a black SUV while crossing the street. The incident occurred around 9:25 p.m. on Devonshire Street, just east of Woodman Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

The victim, identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office as Jesus Portillo, a resident of North Hills, was crossing Devonshire Street outside of the designated crosswalk when the accident took place. Despite being hit by the SUV, Portillo was not able to survive the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel.

The driver of the SUV did not stop after hitting Portillo and fled the scene. At the time of the investigation, police did not have a description of the suspect vehicle or its driver. The authorities are still working to locate the driver involved and have not released any further details on the case as of now.
