Jesus Manuel Solis Obituary, Death – The Weld County Coroner’s Office has identified the 19-year-old man who was fatally shot in Greeley on Saturday evening. The victim, Jesus Manuel Solis, was found lying in the roadway after reports of a shooting in the area of 2000 9th Avenue at around 7:10 p.m.
When officers from the Greeley Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Solis had been shot and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the medical facility. The coroner later confirmed his identity.
Further investigation revealed that there had been a crash near the location of the shooting. Greeley police believe the shooting was not a random act, and that Solis and the suspect were acquainted.
