Jesse Jamison Obituary, Death  – Police have identified the victim in a fatal shooting and crash that occurred Wednesday night in southwest Rochester. Jesse Jamison, 47, was driving his pickup truck on Coulton Place when he was shot at least once in the upper body. Captain Frank Umbrino of the Rochester Police Department reported that the shooting took place just before 10:45 p.m. After being shot, Jamison’s truck accelerated and crashed into a parked car, causing the rear wheels of the pickup to catch fire. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene.

Authorities have not yet revealed the details surrounding the events leading up to the shooting. As of Thursday morning, no charges have been filed in connection with the incident, which is now being investigated as Rochester’s third homicide of 2025.

The incident occurred on Coulton Place, a small residential street off South Plymouth Avenue, located a few blocks south of Ford Street.
