Jeffrey Paul Lepage Obituary, Death News – A 39-year-old man from Southington lost his life in a single-car crash on Interstate 84 in Middlebury on Thursday morning. Connecticut State Police identified the victim as Jeffrey Paul Lepage, who lived on Burritt Street in the Plantsville area of Southington.
The accident occurred around 9:47 a.m. as Lepage was driving a 2023 Subaru Legacy westbound in the left lane on I-84. According to police at Troop A in Southbury, for reasons yet to be determined, Lepage’s car drifted out of the lane, entered the median’s grassy embankment, and collided with several large rocks.
Emergency responders transported Lepage to Waterbury Hospital using a Middlebury Ambulance, but despite their efforts, he died from the injuries sustained in the crash.
Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. They are asking anyone who may have seen the incident or has dashboard camera footage from the area at the time to contact Troop A in Southbury at 203-267-2200.
